Little over a month and a half

So Thomas and I arrived in Texas at our new home just two days after Tom got here. Unpacking was pretty quick at first. I don't like to see boxes everywhere. I did most of the packing in the first two weeks. It slowed down to just unpacking the office now. Which I am in no hurry to unpack at this time. Erica is coming to visit in August and is going to go through all the boxes of baby stuff so it is organized before the baby comes. I didn't organize them when I packed them up so sizes are everywhere, bottles are in various boxes, shoes, socks of different sizes...you get the idea. So I will need help with that. I am hoping to buy very very little. In fact on my baby registry I have mostly things like the stroller and such. Since we have been here Thomas is learning how to get around in the pool. He doesn't swim but kicks and the last time at the pool Tom said he kicked all the way from one side to the other just to get a balloon. We are hoping he will actually be swimming by the end of the summer. Thomas and I made a visit out to Georgia to see his Nana and GG (grandma and great grandma). It was only for 4 days but it was pretty exhausting. You don't realize how much you baby proof your home over time until you go somewhere that has no baby proofing at all. Overall the trip was fun. Thomas now recognizes pictures of them both more. I am guessing because he spent more time with them. Also got to spend some time with his great-uncle Danny. He took Thomas and I out for ice cream. Very yummy. Getting around San Antonio has been a challenge. Unlike Arizona they have frontage roads EVERYWHERE off the freeways. So if you want to get somewhere and you need to get off on a specific street start looking for the exit about 1-2 miles before. I make sure I download and print from google maps before I leave for somewhere new. The baby is growing. I am due Sept 7th and when I asked the doctor if I could deliver a couple weeks early and was told nope. Not unless there is some medical reason to do so. So, I guess it is full term for this baby. My mom is going to be able to come out and help for about a week and a half. I am looking forward to that. She will be a lot of help I know. She is very active and can get around really well. Time to get out and get some errands done. Seems like I do more errands now that I am home than when I was working.

Changes

Our life is going to change yet again. It started last year when we found out our family is expanding. Yes, we were trying. Than in February Tom got a new job working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The job is in Texas. So we are going to be moving to Texas. Tom and a friend of ours Greg will be driving the U-Hauls on May 2nd and I fly out with Thomas on May 4th. My last day of work (at a monetary paying job) was on April 14. So far my life has been nothing but packing and getting the final stuff taken care of here in Arizona. Lots to do to move to another state. I feel very blessed to now have the opportunity to stay home with Thomas. I am nervous and will probably be calling friends asking for advice but hopefully I will catch on to this stay at home mommy job and find it just as rewarding as I hear it is. Once all the packing and unpacking is complete I hope to be able to blog often to update life. Love you all.

Way Way Over Due

This was taken back in June but it is amazing how much he has changed over time. We just love our little boy.
